A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Sector Space is a single-player, top-down 2D sandbox game set in a procedurally generated galaxy. Progress through combat, exploration, or industrialization. Mine materials from asteroids or extract them from planets. Establish colonies on planets, build stations. Take on pirates and void creatures or become a pirate. Discover hundreds of unique items, upgrade your ship, assemble a fleet, and take on the void.

Flight Controls
W : Pro-grade / Forward thrust.
A : Rotate Counter-clockwise / Turn Left.
D : Rotate Clockwise / Turn Right.
S : Retro-grade / Reverse thrust.
Space Bar : Selects a target if nothing is targeted, fires weapons.
Mouse Left Click : Selects a target on screen.
Mouse Right Click : Autopilots to a location on screen.
Mouse Scroll Wheel : Zoom in and out in Radar or Map.
Button Action Note : Some buttons can be held down which will engage rapid auto clicking. Skill window training buttons, cargo window transfer, and sell buttons to name a few.

C : Toggle item and debris pickup (Scooping) on or off.
K : Cloaking, Toggles cloak on or off.
J : Jump-drive, Starts or stops jumping in the direction you are facing.
R : Fleet weapons, Enables or Disables your fleets ability to automatically shoot weapons.
Q : Cycle through nearby targets.
V : Autopilots to the current target.
L : Toggles safety lock, prevents firing on neutral and friendly NPC while on.
X : Toggles ship status, equipment, and cargo windows when targeting an allied ship.

Traversing Wormholes or Gates
Place your ship over the wormhole or gate and wait for a count-down timer to appear.

Docking at NPC and Player Stations
Place your ship over the station and wait for a count-down timer to appear.

Other Controls
F1 : Toggles between window mode and full-screen mode.
ESC : In game returns to character selection menu, saves and exits the game.

Install instructions

Included open JRE when using installer should allow the game to run on most systems.
